Prague is full of color now. In reaction to decades of gray, dusty facades that were the result of indifference and neglect, the new trend is color. It is even too much for some who compare the city to a candy store because of that.  

According to historical records, rich saturated colors were quite typical during the 16. and 17. centuries, favored by builders that had been arriving to Prague from the northern Italy. Prague has been quite possibly more colorful than many other European cities at that time.
